About This Group
Adolescence is supposed to involve pulling away. This group helps parents stay in relationship with a teenager who is doing exactly what they are developmentally meant to do, without losing the connection in the process.
What We Cover
What is actually happening in the adolescent brain, and what that explains. Staying connected through the pulling away. Conflict that does not end the relationship. Boundaries, autonomy, and knowing which battles to have. Talking about risk, mental health, and independence.
Who This Group Is For
Parents and caregivers of teenagers, including parents who feel they have already lost ground.

Parenting education group based on the Gottman approach.
